Name: Abu
Universe: Aladdin (Disney, 1992)
Species: Monkey (capuchin-like)
Voiced by: Frank Welker
Essence: Mischievous, loyal, and always hungry
Overview:
Abu is Aladdin’s quick-witted, kleptomaniac monkey sidekick, known for his expressive face, comical gestures, and knack for getting into (and out of) trouble. Though small, Abu has a huge personality—equal parts street-smart and soft-hearted. He often acts as Aladdin’s conscience, comic relief, and occasional enabler when it comes to petty theft.
From stealing apples in Agrabah’s marketplace to helping defeat Jafar, Abu proves time and again that loyalty beats size. Despite his love of shiny things (especially jewels), he always comes through when it really counts. Whether he’s turning into an elephant or sneaking into the Cave of Wonders, Abu is the kind of friend who sticks by your side—banana in hand.
Personality Traits:

Quote (non-verbal, but classic):
